Hillel is an entirely student run organization that works to create a vibrant pluralistic Jewish community at JMU. Each year, Hillel facilitates over $50,000 worth of programming, well over 60 events for the JMU community, free of charge. We have been incredibly successful at doing our Job. We have reached over 1 in 4 students in the last year, and have reached over 50,000 people in print mediums. However, doing this without the financial support of others would be impossible. We receive no annual funding from the university, and rely on program grants from private foundations and organizations, contributions from Jewish organizations, and most prominently, donations from people like you.

When you donate money to Hillel, it is put to use to put on amazing programs that work to create and maintain a Jewish community on campus. Your money allows us to provide free Shabbat dinners, bring in amazing speakers and scholars. Your money allows us to reach the student body, to educate and enlighten the community about our faith and beliefs, and to facilitate programming that makes a lasting impact on students.
